VISAS
Mozambique issues 30-day Tourist Visas at a cost of USD50, which can be obtained on arrival at the airport.
Countries that do NOT need a visa for up to 30 days are: South Africa | Botswana | Cape Verde | Malawi | Mauritius | Swaziland | Tanzania | Zambia
Your passport must be valid for 6 months AFTER the last day of your stay, and must have a minimum of 3 blank pages.

SHOULD I TAKE MALARIA TABLETS?
Mozambique is a Malaria-area, so we do recommend taking precautions.
WIFI CONNECTIVITY
Complimentary Wifi is available in the Main Lodge areas including the bar and restaurant, but not available in the villas.
CURRENCY AND CARDS
Mozambican currency is Meticals, however, US Dollars are widely accepted.
At Coral Lodge, we accept Meticals and US Dollars only.
VISA card accepted only.
DRESS CODE AT CORAL LODGE
Coral lodge enjoys a relaxed atmosphere with no dress code.
However, as it is a majority Muslim country, we do suggest respectable clothing during visits to Ilha de Mozambique or the local community of Cabaceira Pequena, taking other cultural beliefs into consideration.
CAN I BRING ANYTHING FOR THE LOCAL COMMUNITY?
The local community of Cabaceira Pequena are always grateful for any supplies from visitors, however, it is never expected.
Here are some ideas if you would like to bring along some supplies:
The Orphanage: Toys | Clothes
There are eight children between ages of 1 and 6 years old that are orphans and always in need of clothes and toys.
The School: Pencils | Paper | Crayons | Chalk |
The Clinic: Paracetemol | Disposable Gloves | Bandages | Any medical supplies are welcomed.
The Music Studio: Any old music equipment
