“We stayed for 8 nights at Coral Lodge, a bit worried because we don’t normally do beach holidays but this was something special. If you wanted to you could stay at the Lodge and soak up the sun on the stunning beach and lagoon, looked after by the nicest people on the planet. But with the Ilha UNESCO city, the local communities, the mangrove forest all within minutes we had a wonderful time, an amazing mixture of barefoot luxury, culture, history, and natural beauty, very highly recommended. The Lodge seems to effortlessly strike a balance between offering every comfort and engaging with the reality of the world around it. A privilege to be part of the family for a few days.”

“Probably the best structure in Mozambique, the location is beautiful directly on the white beach. Sunrise overlooking the sea and sunset among the mangroves. Beautifully furnished rooms (all suites), guaranteed privacy, excellent cuisine (they took into account my food allergies). Felipa and Riccardo run this fantastic place as elegant hosts and the atmosphere they manage to create is magical. The whole person who works in the structure is courteous and jovial. I recommend this place to all those who seek beauty, elegance, discretion, good taste, tranquility and a touch of Italian.”
“Coral Lodge is a corner of paradise in the middle of nowhere! everything is well kept and well kept, the 9 villas are wonderful and offer a great privacy because they are distant from each other. The courtesy and attention of Felipa and Ricardo are commendable, not to mention the high level of service and friendliness of the entire Coral Lodge team. The food is amazing, we only ate fish for all 5 days and everything tasted excellent !! the high and low tides offer unforgettable sceneries. unfortunately we have always found the sea a bit ‘rough but the boat trips have always been very nice and fun, especially the WHALE WATCHING …. A recommendation do it in the morning and not in the afternoon because the whales jump and go out’ water while in the evening they swim next to the boat. however, seeing them at close range is a unique emotion. On the last night they organized a private dinner and made it to the beach by cooking some crazy prawns next to us, a small gift for our honeymoon. a tip: apart from the tips that obviously are more than welcome by the staff, we have also brought some small games that we gave to children (dolls, cars, those thousand objects that our children are full of) and were very happy! ! Enjoy your stay as we did !!!”
